Born in Istanbul in 1981. After completing her high school education at Doğuş Science High School in 1999, she graduated from Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. She completed her Neurology residency at Istanbul Science University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurology between 2006-2012. She was an observership physician at University College London Institute of Neurology Royal Free Hospital in 2011. She completed her obligatory government work at Malazgirt State Hospital between 2012-2013 and worked as a clinical fellow at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurology, Behavioral Neurology and Movement Disorders Unit between 2013-2019. She started working as a “PhD Lecturer” at Istanbul Aydin University Faculty of Medicine in 2019 and received the “Associate Professor” title in 2021. Since 2022, she has worked as an “Associate Professor” at Biruni University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurology. Since 2013, she has been accepting patients with Prof. Dr. Murat EMRE and in her private clinic since 2020. Her particular area of interest is “Movement Disorders and Behavioral Neurology” and in this field, she has given seminars and courses at many national and international congresses, chaired sessions, published articles in national and international journals, and written national and international books and book chapters. She has also provided consultancy to various institutions in these fields and has participated in many national and international multi-center TUBITAK projects. She has awards for his academic studies and actively holds board positions and memberships in national and international professional associations. She has also participated in many social responsibility projects related to her field of interest.
